Children's day - What to do outside

June 1 is one of the happiest holidays in Poland. It is children's day. This year students from our school had an opportunity to spend a day outside and play together after long (8 months) time of pandemic's online education at home.

What did they do ? Maybe it will be an inspiration for you of some outdoor activities.

1. Czółko - "forehead"

A popular party game great for any age and language. Children sit in a small group. Each one has  a pen and a stick-it piece of paper. Each child wrtites a word for the friend on their tight.  After that the children switch their cards and put them on their forehead so that everybody but them knows "what or who are they". The categories of words can be anything. A car, person, food etc depending on kids imagination.

After everybody is ready, children ask "yess or no" questions and the rest of the group answers. They go in circle. The first person to guess who he or she is - is the winner, students then can play until everybody knows who are they.

2. Kalambury 

A child gets a card and then shows, mimes, or draws the word.

The groups answer and get points.

3. Board games

board and card games are a great way of spending time together. Dobble, Monopoly, 21, makao, etc etc
